Giveaway: National Stationery Week 2017

I love stationery. I’ve always loved stationery. As a little girl I often asked for pens, notepads, pencils and a variety of other products for my presents. Despite the increased competition from iPads and other electronic devices my eldest daughter shares the love and can often be happily found writing away in a notepad (even before she knew how to write actual letters). If I get a new pen or notepad I have to keep it hidden or it quickly becomes hers.

Today is the start of National Stationery Week and I’m excited to be a part of it. I am launching a giveaway to win a lovely pen and notepad set from Sheaffer and later in the week I will be sharing a post about the importance of letter writing with children.

4 Stabilo sensor pens in purple, green pink and blue with text saying National Stationery Week 24-30 April 2017

So what is National Stationery Week about? Running from 24th to 30th April this week encourages people to put pen to paper and write more often. The week celebrates a different theme each day so there will be something to inspire everyone.

The 7 Days of Stationery are:

Monday: Pen & Pencil Day
Tuesday: Get Crafty
Wednesday: World Stationery Day
Thursday: Thank You Thursday
Friday: Fountain Pen Friday
Saturday: Signature Saturday
Sunday: Write A Letter Day

Win a Sheaffer Pen and Notepad

A Black Sheaffer notepad and a Ballpoint pen with a silvery top half and red bottom half in a display case
Win these!
My giveaway prize is this lovely pen and notepad. A big "Thank You" to Sheaffer and National Stationery Week for providing the prize. Checkout National Stationery Week on social media to read some of the other great posts this week. You can find them on Facebook and Twitter.

  30. The last letter I wrote was to our bank to complain about their atrocious service. I doubt they will do anything to compensate us, but it was strangely satisfying to be able to write a polite but scathing letter about their so-called "customer helpline" who were anything but helpful.
