Valentine's Day is just next week and if you are like me you haven’t even bought a card yet. I’m not sure when I became so disorganised, actually I am, it was around the time I got pregnant and gave up my right to sleep and have time to myself. Fortunately I’m not worried about what I’m going to get because I’ve already had some lovely gifts thanks to Baylis & Harding and because it’s Valentine's I’m going to share the love with a giveaway.
Baylis & Harding currently have a limited edition Rosé Prosecco Fizz Fragranced Range which make the perfect Valentine's gifts. Unlike chocolate or alcohol there is no need to worry about if the recipient is on a diet or can’t eat dairy. The delicately scented range has lots of different gift sets and I was kindly sent three of them.
The Prosecco Van
In my house this is definitely the most popular of the 3 sets I received and I’m lucky my toddler gave it back to me long enough to photograph. The set of miniature Body Wash and Hand & Body Lotion (both 100ml) come in a van shaped tin with a body polisher. The small bottles are perfect to take on holiday and the (emptied) tin is great fun to play with. The body wash lathers up nicely with the polisher and I found the body lotion soothing and quickly absorbed after I got out the shower.
The Treats For Feet Sock Set
A snuggly soft pair of pink socks is packaged with a 125ml Rosé Prosecco Fizz Foot Lotion. I find the minty smell of lots of foot creams off putting at times, but this lotion has a gentle fruity scent like the rest of the range. It gave a mild tingle to my feet when I put it on, but that didn’t last and the cream was quickly absorbed. Hours later my test foot (I just put it on the one initially for comparison purposes was still noticeably softer and more moisturised than the other foot.
The socks are a polyester and elastane mix so they keep their shape well and are lovely and snuggly. They claim to fit sizes 4 to 7 (which will cover the majority of women’s foot sizes) and they are machine washable.
Body Treats Gift Set
Slightly more expensive at £18 this set contains full size bottles (500ml) of Rosé Prosecco Fizz Fragranced Balancing Body Wash and Indulgent Moisturising Body Lotion as well as 100g tub of bath soak crystals and a body polisher. Perfect for a relaxing and pampering bath.
The Baylish & Harding Rosé Prosecco Fizz Fragranced Range
I love the theme and packaging of the Rosé Prosecco Fizz range and there is so much choice (lots more than the selection I was sent). I especially love all the metallic hearts on the foot lotion. Put that on your bathroom shelf and no one will realise it’s going on feet which have probably been neglected all winter.
I’m not sure I have ever paid too much attention to the smell of rosé prosecco. I love the look of rosé, but prefer the taste of the normal variety and I generally save my sniffing to red wine. I would describe the scent of this range as a combination of bubblegum and rose and it is lovely. They are also delicately scented which is great because I don’t want to leave a trail of strong scent wherever I go (around small children I find this can be confusing). It’s also great if you want to wear perfume because you won’t need to worry about the scents clashing.

***Disclosure: I was sent the above products from Baylis & Harding as gifts and I was under no obligation to write nice things. Given the rubbish time I have had recently I was very grateful to receive them and they put a big smile on my face.***
