Cuddledry Love: Grey Stars Baby Towel Review

I love Cuddledry towels. Yes this is a review and I’ve been sent a product to write about, but seriously I love them. It was love at first touch because their towels are just so soft and snuggly; exactly what I want to wrap my children up in.

I didn’t always feel this way. When M was born I heard about the Cuddledry apron towel and thought it was a genius idea. I did a quick search online and I found the Cuddledry towels, I also found a similar, slightly cheaper one. I bought the cheaper one. Just like adult towels though the softer, better quality, thicker towels are generally more expensive. I was happy with my cheaper towel, it was perfectly functional, but the first time I picked up a Cuddledry towel I realised my mistake. Since then M has had their toddler towels (the awesome Cuddleroar dinosaur and a Cuddlemoo, you guessed it, cow) and the Cuddletwist Hair Towel so when buying a new towel for my second baby I was only going to choose a Cuddledry one. We have been using the Giraffe print towel for 7 months now and it still looks brand new.

The apron towels are an absolute must for babies. When you are having to support the baby in the bath and then pick up a slippery, wriggling, delicate newborn the last thing you need is to be trying to grab a towel. With the apron design you put the towel around your neck before they go in the bath and it’s there ready when you lift them out. You cuddle the baby to you and scoop up the end of it, popping the hood on their head. This keeps them snuggly, safe and warm. It’s even easy for people nervous about picking up newborns (as advised by my partner).

There are so many brilliant designs in the Cuddledry selection and they have just added a new one. Grey on one side, white on the other and trimmed in grey with little white stars. This towel will coordinate beautifully with the wide range of baby products out there at the moment in grey and white.

10 reasons I love The Original Cuddledry Handsfree Baby Bath Towel:
  • They are silky soft
  • They wash really well, staying soft wash after wash
  • They are made with unbleached cotton and natural bamboo fibre
  • They are super absorbent so you can get baby tucked up in bed super fast when they are tired
  • The apron towel design means you can concentrate on holding the baby rather than the towel
  • The apron towel has a wide, soft piece of towel to go behind your neck to form the apron. As this is the same material as the rest it's super comfortable for you to wear
  • The neck piece does up with 2 metal poppers which makes it fast and easy to undo when you put baby down (I generally place Little on the changing table with the towel still on and cover her up with the other half to keep her warm)
  • The hood keeps baby's head warm without worrying about covering their face up
  • They dry quickly so they are ready for the next bath time (when you have a weaning baby like me baths can be several times a day)
  • They have lots of brilliant designs from animal prints to more subtle colour schemes

We give this towel 10/10 because we love it so much and can’t find a reason to fault it.
