Fabulous Finds For November 2017

Once again I am bringing you an eclectic mix of all the things I am loving this month. This month I have been indulging my sweet tooth with lots of dairy free finds, enjoying some luxury with new beauty products and provide evidence that sometimes I am very behind on a trend.

Instagram Stories

Yes I know everybody has been doing them for ages, but it’s only this month I have got into putting new stories up regularly and talking to camera! It’s taking a bit of time getting used to recording a video that is just 15 seconds long, but I’m really enjoying doing it.

Non-Dairy Ben & Jerry’s

I have been sharing the news about this ice cream for months before it was released and this month I finally got my hands on some. Made predominantly from almonds it sadly does have some soya in (Soy Lecithin as an emulsifier) so not great for those that can’t eat soya either. I am munching my way through a tub of Chocolate Fudge Brownie and it is nearly as good as I remember their dairy ice cream is. They also have Chunky Monkey (but I’m not keen on banana ice cream) and Peanut Butter & Cookies (but I’m not a fan of peanut butter ice cream) so I’ll make do with Chocolate Fudge Brownie for now. It’s only available at Tesco locally to me and at £5.50 a tub I won’t be eating it everyday, but it’s my favourite non-dairy ice cream so far (it’s Vegan too).

Baylis & Harding

I was sent a fantastic selection of Baylis & Harding products from their Christmas range. I have shown them on my Instagram stories last week and I am working my way through them all to test them out. My favourite items are the Christmas Candle and the Beauticology's Carnival Collection. The Winter Spruce & Berries Festive candle (affiliate link) is only £10 RRP (for a 38 hour burn time). It's smells amazing and perfect for this time of year. There are a number of different sets available in the Carnival Collection (affiliate link) and the one below contains Candy Apple Body Wash and Sweet Caramel Popcorn Body Butter. They feel as amazing as they smell.

Yum Yums

How have I been off dairy for nearly a year now and only just discovered most Yum Yums don’t have dairy in? Yum Yum’s are pretty much sugar glazed doughnuts in my eyes, except all doughnuts seem to contain dairy. Being made in bakeries there is obviously a risk of cross contamination, but if you are avoiding dairy for a reason other than an allergy eat, eat, eat!

Golden Crunch Cinder Toffee

I won a giveaway with the Vegan Store on Instagram and received a collection of things I hadn’t tried before. I love Vegan foods because they are obviously all dairy free, it’s nice to go on a website and be able to eat any of it. Anyway one of the goodies I was sent was this Vegan cinder toffee bar. It’s basically a dark chocolate crunchie. It’s quite rich and sweet so I’ve been eating a bit at a time and it’s lovely.

Pernigotti Gianduiotto Snack Bar

Another of the discoveries from my giveaway win from the Vegan Store were these Italian Hazelnut Truffle chocolate bars. It’s more like milk than dark chocolate and this deliciously smooth and morish chocolate is now one of my favourite dairy free chocolate bars.

Graze Mince Pie Flapjack

I have been getting Graze snack boxes for a while and one of my favourite items are the flapjacks, most of which don’t contain dairy. In my most recent box there was a new limited edition Mince Pie flavour which was delicious and Christmassy. I’m hoping I get at least one more before Christmas. If you haven't tried Graze before use my link and you will get your 1st, 5th and 10th boxes free.

Next Lip Gloss

Did you know Next do make up? I didn’t, but I guess I’m hardly a beauty blogger. When I went to a Next Blogger Network event recently there was a lip gloss in the goody bag. It was the exact shade of red I would choose myself if I was going to choose a red lip gloss. It took me a while to try it out, partly because the colour on the tube is much darker than the actual colour. When my lips aren’t too dry I find it stays on really well and looks good without being too over the top glossy (that might look a little odd on the school run).
