Pumpkin Patches and Halloween October Half Term Activities in Essex 2023

Every year there are more pumpkin patches popping up so you wont have to travel far in Essex to pose with a pumpkin or ghoul.   This post is probably the most comprehensive round up of pumpkin patches in Essex and features lots of ideas of where to go with children this Halloween Half Term.   There is even a growing number of evening activities if you are looking for something a bit more spooky.

The pumpkin patches are generally field based so wellies are recommended. The Half Term activities are mostly outside so require appropriate clothing, but many venues also encourage fancy dress.

If you looking for places to go with children and aren't so bothered about Halloween then check out my guides to Essex with children. I love to hear what people get up to so if you post on social media feel free to tag me @EssexKate (Instagram or Twitter) or @CountingToTenBlog (Facebook).
