The Best Essex Garden Centres To Visit This Christmas

Twinkling lights, glittering baubles and the Christmas classics; garden centres at Christmas are magical places. We love our annual trip to the garden centre to select a new decoration to add to the Christmas tree and marvel at the lights, inflatables and miniature villages. Many garden centres also offer special events such a Christmas grottos, themed breakfasts or workshops for kids so it is worth checking their event schedules in advance for a full Christmassy day out.

A garden centre can be a fun and affordable day trip out with children all day round, especially if they have a pet shop, aquarium, toy shop or a café. Some even have outdoor play areas or soft plays inside so you can enjoy a slice of cake and tea whilst they burn off some energy.

Here are our top garden centre recommendations in Essex and why they are worth a visit, not only this Christmas but all year round.
