Review: Kinder By Nature Wipes

Little recently had some nasty red eczema on her face. While chatting to a friend I said that I thought it was caused by some new baby wipes I had tried so she recommended the Kinder By Nature Baby wipes. My friend use the wipes on her son who has a number of allergies and she has never experienced a reaction from them. A few days later I had the opportunity to be sent some Kinder By Nature wipes for review and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to try them.

Kinder by Nature baby wipes by Jackson Reece were created by Janet and Colin (the parents to Jackson, Reece and two younger sons) after their first son developed baby eczema at 8 months old. They discovered that the chemicals and alcohol in commercial baby wipes made the eczema worse and that even the chlorine in tap water irritated his skin. After a number of years research they developed the perfect wipes: Kinder By Nature Baby Wipes.

What did we think of the Kinder By Nature Wipes?

The soft and strong wipes are gentle and guilt free: the biodegradable cloth can be composted which is great if you want to avoid adding to landfill, they aren’t tested on animals, but they were tested on Janet and Colin’s children and have been used by 1000s of families and the wipes are made in the UK from organic ingredients.

I love that not only do they clearly state on the packaging all the ingredients (of which 99% are naturally derived) but they say what the purpose is of each one. The transparency is refreshing. There are two varieties of Kinder by Nature baby wipes: natural and herbal. The ingredients for both are the same, but the herbal ones have the addition of ylang ylang oil to provide a mild scent.

When we received the wipes in the post Little had a touch of nappy rash. I used the Kinder By Nature wipes without any nappy rash cream and the rash got better. This convinced me that the wipes are great at cleaning delicate skin without irritating it. I’m quite fussy when it comes to baby wipes, but I like the feel of the Kinder By Nature wipes. The cloth is soft and moist without being so wet that they just move mess around.

I am happy to use these wipes on my baby’s face as well as her bum. I am happy to use these wipes on my 5 year old who has sensitive skin and gets a rash and eczema from a large range of products. I would be happy to use these wipes on a newborn.

The Kinder By Nature Range

As well as Baby Wipes the Kinder By Nature range includes: Nose Nuzzles and Mucky Mitts. The Nose Nuzzles are a pack of 20 saline wipes with aloe & chamomile perfect for when little ones have a runny nose. The pack is less than half the size of the baby wipes so it is easy to slip in a coat pocket. They are really moisturising and I would happily test them out on my nose next time it is red and stinging. The Mucky Mitts is an alcohol free hand sanitiser spray.

The Kinder By Nature products are great for sensitive skin of all ages and I would recommend them for all babies with their delicate skin. They are available to buy here and a growing list of other retailers.

  1. These wipes sound super good. We're not using any, just soft toilet paper with water just because of allergies. I think these aren't available in Finland tho :D

  2. I've never heard of this brand before. We use water wipes for the same reason though - better for skin with natural ingredients! I will not go back to other brands with added nasties now! x

  4. Ive never heard or seen this brand, but it certainly sounds like one that I would love and will try out, especially as my daughter has sensitive skin, so will keep my eyes peeled.

  5. These look great. Something I wouldn't use as I am more a reusable wipe person but great as a disposable wipe!
