Giveaway: Braun Body Grooming Kit

Father's Day is fast approaching (it’s June 18th this year if you need the reminder). As a parent it’s not just a day to say “Thanks” to my Dad, but it's a perfect day to show my partner what a great Dad I think he is too. Ideally the thank your should come from the children, but while they are younger and heavily reliant on me for money and supervision the burden tends to fall on me to arrange the gift. I wrote a guide last year with inspiration for Father's Day presents at different budgets which is worth checking out, but for one lucky blog reader I have an amazing gift to giveaway. Thanks to Braun I have a posh electric shaver to giveaway so you can give a great gift to your partner or Dad.

The white posh shaver in the box

I’m calling it a posh shaver, but technically it’s called the Braun Body Grooming Kit BGK7050. The kit combines the ability to shave, epilate or trim in one tool with 4 different attachments and it's designed to be used either wet or dry making it very versatile. There are great features including a pivoting head to glide round the contours of the face or body and it even includes a smart light feature to help prevent any hairs being missed.

The Braun Body Grooming kit is designed to be all purpose so it can be used for body hair as well as the face. This makes it great for men and women although the product seems to be more targeted at men. The kit comes with 4 attachments: one for shaving, one for trimming and two for epilation. Both epilation options are designed to remove hair as short as 0.5mm using electronic tweezers (40 in total), but one cap is for use over a larger area and the other offers more precise epilation.

The box also contains a plug, travel bag and cleaning brush. The kit only takes an hour to fully charge which should provide 40 minutes of use. That’s probably long enough to make your entire body clean shaven (or a week's worth of facial hair removal).

If you want to win the Braun Body Grooming Kit BGK7050 you can enter via the Rafflecopter widget below. The giveaway closes at Midnight on Sunday 4th June so there should be enough time to get it sent out if you want to use it as a Father’s Day gift. All normal T&C’s apply (including UK entry only) and you can read them in full in the widget. You aren't more likely to win if you leave a humorous comment because the winner is selected at random, but you might make me laugh.

  2. Not sure, as I was brought up "that it is the thought that counts", and to show / express appreciation. I can recall my brother telling us that he received a box of sweets from his young son one Fathers Day. The child was really excited, had run into the bedroom, jumped onto the bed and presented his Dad with the box of sweet. Informing his Dad that "they were sharing sweets". My brother was delighted, touched and of course shared his sweets with his son. We lost our own Dad as children, so I think he was just so delighted to have been acknowledged and loved by his son.

  9. Well they always seem to want nothing as they don't like you to spend on them. Or they get stuff they just dump somewhere so the best bet is to give them cash or a gift card then they can get what they want.
