Children's Firefighter Water Sprayer Toy - Review and Giveaway

(AD-Gifted) This Fire Fighter's Water Sprayer by Theo Klein is a fun and exciting toy for kids who love role-playing as firefighters or just love water play. This toy encourages imaginative play and helps children develop their motor skills and hand-eye coordination. It makes a great gift whether you want to enjoy the last of the warmer days or you plan to be ready for Spring. You can buy it here from Wicked Uncle, but they have also provided one for me to giveaway (you can enter at the end of this post).

Children’s Firefighter Water Sprayer Review

This toy is a water tank that can be worn and a connected hose that allows children to spray water. The tank can hold about 2 litre’s, which is obviously heavy for little children to carry, but thanks to the back pack design it makes it easy for them to wear and use.

The stickers on it say "Fire Fighter Henry" and they aren't totally waterproof so try to not get them wet, or avoid rubbing them while wet.

Wicked Uncle recommend this toy for children age 3 to 5. My 5 year old absolutely loves it, but my 8 year old was keen to get in on the action too so there is definitely a wider appeal.

Instructions for Use - Fire Fighter Henry Klein Water Sprayer Toy

  • Fill the tank by unscrewing the top yellow lid on the tank and fill with clean tap water.
  • Screw the lid back on (ours leaked a bit so we had to keep it upright, but it still worked great) and place the tank on the child’s back like a back pack.
  • Take the hose round to the front and hold the handles.
  • To spray water you hold the front of the spray and pump the back yellow handle.

Tips For Using The Fun Fighter Toy Water Sprayer

  • This is definitely an outside toy; there is a lot of water in that tank so you won’t want it in your house
  • The box says that on first use it might be a little stiff so you might want to pump it a few times before handing over to your child.
  • To make the water in the tank last longer twist the spray head (where the water comes out) to make it have a single jet of water.
  • For more water, and more fun, use the multi jet option (twist the spray head the other direction).
  • The water can come out with quite a lot of pressure so make sure it isn’t aimed at any one’s face.
  • The straps are quite short and the images on the box suggest wearing them with a double layer at the front. We found it better to have a single layer of the strap in front, with the loop behind and against the inside of the back pack.
  • If you don’t want to get soaked you can encourage children to water your plants (from enough of a distance to avoid damage), create targets for them to fire at or if you have a wooden fence they are great for making pictures with water.
