Announcing My Epaderm 2020 Ambassador Role

(AD - Brand Ambassador) All 3 of my children have eczema and at times I get dry skin patches too. We are lucky to not suffer as badly as some people, but we have experienced a lot of tears and discomfort over the years. I remember the first time my eldest paddled in the sea at just 2 years old and she burst into tears because the salt water made her eczema sting so much. Finding a product that helps has made a big difference to all of us which is why I am so happy to be working as an ambassador for Epaderm this year.

Epaderm is an emollient range for adults and children which was developed by dermatologists for dry skin, eczema and psoriasis. The versatile 3-in-1 product comes as an ointment or a cream and can be bought easily in shops including Boots, Tesco, Superdrug and Amazon.

Last year I wrote a post about how the dreaded night itch from eczema keeps my eldest daughter awake for a competition to work with Epaderm in 2020. I was very excited to be chosen as a winner alongside Victoria Welton.

Epaderm Judging panel said:

“Kate offered great practical eczema management tips from her routine with her daughters and her blog page was clear and easy to read. We loved how Kate was honest about her family’s specific experiences and differentiated between her use of ointment versus cream.”

We have lots of exciting posts planned over the year starting with a giveaway later this month so you can win the range to help you and your family. I am also going to track down the triggers for eczema break outs with my children and I would love for my readers to get involved too, you can download a tracker to help you.

My toddler has the worst patches of his eczema on his ankles. My middle child tends to suffer most on the inside of her elbows and the back of her knees and my eldest normally has patches on her legs (particularly her thighs). Each of them suffers slightly differently, but helpfully I can use the same product to comfort them all.

As parents we can’t wrap our children up in cotton wool and we know it’s inevitable they will get hurt or ill at times. Just like other mums, I want to do what I can to protect my family and make them feel better, Epaderm helps me to do that.

If you or your children suffer from dry skin, eczema or psoriasis I hope you find my posts helpful and I would love to hear about your experiences.
