(Gifted) This Light Up Neon Effect Message Frame makes a fun gift for tweens and adults. Take it out of the box and it looks like a square black picture frame with a sheet of clear glass in the middle, but write a message, turn it on and the light shines on the message making it light up in the dark. The frame is made from black plastic with a hole on the back that you can use to hang it up. There is a black push button on the top and a battery compartment on the bottom (screwed shut) where you need to put 3 AAA batteries to make the light work. The transparent writing surface feels like glass, but it might be thick plastic, either way it needs a little care so I wouldn't recommend this gift for younger children. You can still see the message without the frame light turned on, but it looks better with the light. 

Use the frame for helpful messages or messages to make people smile

Included in the box are 3 pens in neon orange, pink and green. These are standard looking thick nib chalk pens that you need to push the nib down on a surface to get the ink flowing (initially hold down for about 30 seconds). You can clean the writing with a damp cloth (make sure it’s not too wet as you don’t want water to drip into the frame and damage the circuit) and write or draw again. If the ink runs out or you want more colours then there are lots of Chalkola or similar packs you can buy.

The pens are bright and can be cleaned off to start over again

Whether you use it to leave each other fun messages or for reminders it can make life a little bit more interesting.
