Review & Giveaway: Hornit Mini Children's Bike and Scooter Light and Bell

(AD Gifted) I’m not ready for summer to be over, but I can’t deny that it’s starting to get dark earlier already. I’m optimistic that there will be plenty more sunshine to come, but I guess we all need to start planning for the new season and all that entails?

While many of my friends are excited for pumpkins and cozy jumpers I’ll be clinging on to my flip flops, but I am getting our bikes and scooters ready for the darker weather thanks to the Hornit Mini we received from Wicked Uncle.

The Hornit Mini Review

The Hornit Mini is a combined light and bell which easily clips on to the handle bar of children’s bikes or scooters.  It plays 25 different sounds so everyone will know your child is coming. It can make noises like an old fashioned bicycle bell, fire engine or lion as well as less fortunate sounds (although probably more popular with my children) of a burp or fart. There are 3 volume levels so if you are only playing with yours in the garden you don’t need to give your neighbours a headache, you can cycle through the volume levels by pressing the button on the tail or stinger.

The nifty Hornet Mini is a light too. You can choose between white or green LEDs (both are 12 lumens) and the light can either be constantly on or flash at a fast or slower speed.

The Hornit Mini will cope with light rain, but isn’t fully waterproof. Luckily it is really easy to take on and off. Another cool feature is you can plug in a remote trigger allowing you to make the noise without moving your hands, making it safer while cycling. It will play whichever noise was last selected on the main unit. It runs on 2 AAA batteries (which are included for demo purposes).
